When the bosses of the two largest technology companies in the world’s market capitalization came to China, they invariably turned their gaze to Chinese teenagers.

Apple CEO Cook and Google CEO Pichchai were invited to attend this year's Wuzhen Internet Conference. After hurriedly ending Wuzhen's itinerary, they both came to Shanghai to participate in public welfare activities. Google chose to cooperate with Nie Weiping’s Goqi Dojo to provide Al GoGo’s Go teaching to young players from 4 to 18 years old, and set up scholarships. Apple chose to attend a programming class for a deaf-mute school in Shanghai and a "cloud class" for elementary schools.

ARKit appeared on the paper clip of the elementary school classroom

At the conference, Apple Greater China President Ge Yue displayed the augmented reality platform ARKit of Apple, but Cook was even more surprised that the application of ARKit appeared in the paper cutting of Shanghai primary school classroom.

On December 5th, Cook came to the Luwan First Central Elementary School in Huangpu District and participated in a "cloud class". The First Financial Reporter saw in the WeChat circle of friends of Wu Rongzhen, the primary school principal of Luwan No. 1 Center. Cook watched the students' allusions to learning about the "white" in the battle of Qin Zhao through the big screen. In the "Cloud Classroom," every child has the task of deploying the Apple iPad to the teacher. President Wu was demonstrating Cooke's teaching model to him, which was developed independently by President Wu. For example, in the “cloud kitchen,” children can complete the entire process of selecting menus, selecting ingredients, and finally cooking according to the demonstration in the micro video. In the physical education class, children can wear the “cloud watch” to display in real time. Students' heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, and development of personalized exercise programs.

"Cloud Classroom" is the teaching philosophy proposed by Luwan First Central Elementary School several years ago to respond to "Internet Plus" teaching. It has now been copied to schools in many districts in Shanghai. Wu Rongzhen is also affectionately known as the "Headmaster of the Cloud." Her idea is that after 50 years, when the children return to school again, they can find their complete learning experience data.

Wu Rongji believes that the value of the data will gradually manifest itself. And this idea coincides with Apple. Apple is gaining more user data through the popularity of a series of products such as Apple Watch to solve a series of practical problems such as health, medical care and education. Just last weekend, Apple quietly launched a self-developed app health application, agreed to share personal health data with Apple's users, can monitor and analyze their existence through the App to obtain a kind of heart disease called "atrial fibrillation" hidden dangers .

The First Financial reporter found that Cook also visited a deaf-mute school in Shanghai on December 4th. Cook wrote on Weibo: "Programming is the language of the future, giving people of different ages and backgrounds the opportunity to create new things." On Weibo, Cook released a deaf-mute school child holding an Apple iPad and The teacher interacted with the picture while Cook listened carefully.

AR glasses will start mass production

First Financial reporter asked "Apple Exchange" photos on Weibo, in the trip to Shanghai, Cook also with the US group CEO Wang Hing in the old fried pot store spring pot to eat Shanghai snacks. Cook encouraged Wang Xing to bring the American group's model to the United States and stated that sharing bicycles is China's "very important innovation."

Cook also visited the game company Hero Entertainment in Shanghai. During the visit, Ying Shiling, CEO of Hero Entertainment, explained to Cook how mobile gaming has become the lifestyle of the next generation of consumers. Cook also personally played a battle game with his iPad. Since the release of Apple's iPhone 8 and iPhone X, Apple has invested more in AR content and has maintained close contact with Chinese developers.

According to Cook, AR is a technology that can change the next generation of Internet consumption. Quanta, Apple’s main production supplier, has just announced that it has reached a cooperation agreement with the Israeli company Lumus to produce the AR glasses display. Lumus CEO Ari Grobman posted the news on social networking site LinkedIn. Grobman said that this AR head-display device will be released in 2020 and will be available within the next two years, but he declined to disclose whether it would jointly launch AR glasses with Apple.

This is Cook's 12th visit to China. China is Apple's third largest market, and it is also the market with the most potential for development. Cooke attaches great importance to the development of the Chinese market.
